Russell A. "Spike" Fauver, Jr., 31, of Auburn Twp., passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 2, 2014.

Born September 21, 1982 in Fort Polk, La., he was the son of the late Russell A. Fauver Sr. and Beth A. (Raub) Fauver.
He was employed by S & K Stone as a stone foreman at the time of his untimely passing. His boss, Pat Kipar and Tim Kelly were his best friends.
He was a social member of the VFW.
Spike enjoyed fishing, cars and 4-wheeling. Most of all he loved his children and family and spending time with friends.
Survivors include his wife, Helen (Gabriel) Fauver of Athens; his children, Gavin and Jenna Fauver; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tonya and James Lucke of Scranton, Jennifer and Mark Hunsinger of Montrose; nieces and nephews, James III, Deyonne and Jerramiah Lucke, Samantha and John Hunsinger; maternal grandmother, Edith Raub of North Carolina; paternal grandmother, Marion Drake of Tunkhannock; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends .
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Glen Raub; and paternal grandfather, Russell Sickler.
