To Shirley and all of the Dora family, I am so saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was one of the finest, humblest, generous persons my deceased husband Tony and I have ever known. Jim was a special mentor to Tony in the hotel business who he always looked up to & admired. May you feel God's comfort, strength & peace in the days ahead. With sympathy, Sandy Etnyre

Dear Shirley, Jim, Libby Carol and Kris,
Deepest sympathy on the passing of your husband and father. As you already know, he was an amazing man. A friend to almost everyone. A loyal and generous supporter of the many causes he believed in, especially Purdue and Sigma Chi. A major contributor to the early renaissance of Indianapolis. A loving husband and father. A talented business leader. And certainly one of my best friends. He and I worked together from about 1965 on many projects. He did a wonderful job of balancing his obligations to the business and its employees with his obligations to his family and friends, and his desire to help build our great city. He was one of a kind! We all shall miss him!
