Helen Isabel Purcell
88, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 15, 2013. She was born on October 15, 1924 to the late Pearl E and Vera Scott Mills. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was feisty and out-spoken and she made us laugh up until her last days.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Randy) Andrews; son, Gary (Connie) Purcell; 5 grandchildren, Christi Denny, Random, Randa, Ashlee and Christy; 4 sisters, Vivian Berkshire, Barb Mills, Virginia Burris and Naomi Frogge.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ray Purcell; her daughter, Judy Denny; and 8 siblings.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Online condolences may be shared with the family at http://www.ghherrmann.com

Karen so sorry for your loss Yes if you have met Helen you were always left with a laugh Wonderful person Will miss seeing her but we all know we have to deal with losing our mothers some time sooner than we want She will be missed but never forgotten Prayers to the family but lots of memories
