It is good to remember Mark's birth and life. He was dear to many, especially his family. Our hearts go out to you and our prayers. Isaiah 40:10 "So do not fear for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." He holds your hand. He will lead you and He loves you. Mark is in God's paradise before us. Sending hugs.

Bro. John & Mother Nadelin: Mark was a rare being whom God blessed us with for a season. I rejoice in that I've always let him know how much I appreciated him and that I loved him.
I pray that it can ease your pain in that God entrusted you two, such a wonderful people to "present" Mark to us, and what a magnificent job you all did!

John, Patty and family, We are so very sorry to learn of your loss. What an unexpected turn of events that must feel like the weight of the world on your hearts with the loss of your son compounded with the wake of your other recent losses. We can only know that God has a plan and to trust that it is for the highest good. Reading about Mark, what a magnificent human being! What an incredible life he has filled in such a short time. You are special parents to have guided such a beautiful soul. May you find peace and rest in the days to come as the healing begins. God bless you all and know Mark can always hear you even if you can not see him.

Mark's passing is an incredible shock and loss. But at age 25, his ripples in God's kingdom are bigger than a LOT of people.
There is no doubt where he is now. He's with Jesus. This is good.
There is no doubt that he was met with "Well done, my good and faithful servant" This is good.
The only questions now are which awesome musicians is Mark grooving with now? (Kevin Brown? Miles Davis? Dave Brubeck?) and what instrument is Mark playing in that Heavenly Band?
I won't say "good-bye", I will say "see ya later, Mark. I can't wait to worship/jam with you again."

Dear John, Patty, Jacob and Maria,
We are so saddened to hear the news of Mark's passing. Yes, heaven will be the nearer because of his presence there, but we know he will be so missed here. The words of Isaiah 40:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
May you embrace the One who gave Mark to you and wrap yourself in His eternal love. Hold fast, precious ones.

I know words cannot express the deep sorrow at the loss of your child, as our 25-year old son also passed away in 2012. I did not know Mark, but I recognized John's name from Upjohn. In reading about Mark's life, I know that you will cherish the music that you made together with both smiles and tears -- sometimes in the same measure. As my son was fond of saying, though, "Music soothes the soul."

To the Nadelins,
I can picture Mark rockin' on the B3 playing along w/ Kevin Brown right now. I was blessed to not only know Mark, but to play in the Southridge band with him, his brother, and his father. What a loss for us that are left behind! Lexi & I are praying for God's peace for Mark's family and his church families...we will sorely miss his musical gifts, which were also his meditations from the heart.
