J. Bowser Obituary

J. Wade Bowser

80, of Noblesville, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away December 31, 2012. He was born May 6, 1932, in Auburn, IN, to the late Gale T. and Janice Wade Bowser.

J. Wade earned his Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University, and subsequently earned the professional designations of CLU and FLMI. He married Mary S. Smyers, and was the group office manager with Washington National Insurance. J. Wade was a life member of Indiana University Alumni, and a 50 year member of Concord Masonic Lodge, Spencerville, IN. He was a world traveler, who loved to fish, read, and play bridge.

Visitation will be Friday, January 4, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel , 9900 Allisonville Rd.

J. Wade is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Bowser; children, Cheryl (Keith) Jackson, Elizabeth (Daniel) Snyder, Steven (Catherine) Bowser, Jon Bowser and Daniel (Charlotte) Bowser; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Bowser; and six grandchildren. A brother, James Bowser, preceded him in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to Child's Advocate and/or Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.
