I was Talbott's assistant at Pine Tree GC and worked side by side with him daily for 7 years. I was saddened to just hear of his passing. He was a mentor and a friend and provided me opportunity to grow professionally. RIP Talbott. I have a lot to be thankful for with all thanks to you! You were a good man and will not be forgotten!

I am extremely saddened to hear this. My most enjoyable years working were spent with him. From Inverrary Country club in the mid 90s to the Boca Raton Resort in the early 2000s. I think upon those days with fond memories. R.I.P to a wonderful person and sincere sympathies to Susan Denny. Thank you for steering me towards his direction all those years ago.

My condolences to Talbott's family. A college buddy called this morning to tell me the sad news, and it did not really hit me til I looked up the obituary and saw his smiling, young face. Too too soon. But that is how I will remember Talbott, smiling and happy and a devoted member of the Dunn House crew, especially by the sisterhood of Bryan Street girls. May his family and friends cherish his memory, I know I will. Regards, Joyce (Pest) Kerley [email protected]

I am so sorry for the loss to you and your family. Talbott was a great guy, and it was so good to see him in November for his mother, Madonnna's services. This is way too early and unexpected to have happened. God Speed, Talbott Denny.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

So hard to find all the words that can describe Talbott. Only knowing him a short time, but made me feel like we've been friends for years. A pro's pro, leader, mentor and friend. The hardest working man in the golf business! Heaven will have the best greens now that "T" is with our Father. The Park Ridge GC family will miss the best thing this course has ever seen.

Though he left too soon, take comfort in the life he lived. I have many fond memories of Talbott during our college days and working at UPS during our time in Bloomington. He was a beautiful and caring person.
