Bacon, Steven Maurice*  
Steven Maurice Bacon age 50, of Avon, IN, passed away at home on July 15, 2015 surrounded by family. He was born in Kansas City, MO on August 25, 1964. He worked as a field service engineer for many years  and served the Lord faithfully until his death. He leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Rickea, four children - Stephanie (James) Smith of Okinawa, Japan, Shaunna of Lawton, OK, Gabriel of Avon, IN Garison of Avon, IN and one grandson, Z'Kai of Lawton, OK. He also leaves behind his father, Roosevelt Bacon and eight siblings, all of Kansas City. Visitation at 10 a.m. with services following on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 12 Noon at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 4958 Ribble Rd Indianapolis, IN 46123. Services entrusted to Lavenia & Summers Home for Funerals.

Baldauf, Ernie*  
Ernie Baldauf 93, passed away July 20, 2015 in Pittsboro, Indiana. Ernie was born on October 12, 1921 in Indianapolis, IN to the late William and Mina (Best) Baldauf. Ernie married Henrietta Glenn on November 13, 1942 in Pittsboro, IN. Ernie played basketball at Pittsboro High School where he graduated in 1940. He also played basketball as a freshman at Purdue University. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at Purdue University. Ernie was a farmer his whole life. He was an active member at Pittsboro Christian Church. Ernie was a member of Pittsboro Masonic Lodge-Scottish Rite, Shriner's Transportation Unit, Grange, Hendricks Co. Pork Producers, Lions Club, Brickyard Crossing Men's Golf Club, Indiana State Seniors Golf Association, West Chase Men's Club and Indiana Farm Bureau. Survivors: wife, Henrietta L. (Glenn) Baldauf; sons, Andy Baldauf (Cindy), David Baldauf (Karen), Bob Baldauf (Julia), Gary Baldauf (Lana); daughter, Nancy Weddle; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, July 24 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pittsboro Christian Church with the Service to follow at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be on Saturday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m. in the K of P Cemetery, Lizton, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Transportation Unit. Arrangements by David A. Hall Mortuary, Pittsboro, IN.

Barnes, Effie Mae Hornaday*  
Effie Mae Hornaday Barnes 86, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday the 18th of July 2015. Effie was born in Mooresville, Indiana to Myrtle and Hubern Hornaday, she is the last survivor of her 10 siblings. She was married 53 years to Leroy M. Barnes, Sr. and was the mother of Trish Dudgeon, Karen Rose, Linda Kermode, Diana Phelps, James E. Barnes and Leroy M. Barnes, Jr. She had 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 "Grand Dogs". Effie was a laundress for both Holiday and Signature Inns. She was a life long resident in Indiana. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 1 p.m. in Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services-Morris Street, 1604 West Morris Street, with visitation from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2015. She will be laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery.

Lisa J. Beaumont 56, died July 19, 2015. She was a resident of Indianapolis. She was born March 17, 1959 in Indianapolis to the late Harry and Emily (Lewis) Figg. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Beaumont; her son, Kyle (Emily) Beaumont; her sister, Elaine Hubenthal; and her niece, Lori Schulze. She was preceded in death by her niece, Denise Jeanne Schjoll. Lisa was an avid bowler, served as a league secretary and was a member of the U.S.B.C. She attended the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Indianapolis every year. Services will be held at a later date. Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, Indianapolis.
