Manuel III, Rev. Leonard Arley*  
Rev. Leonard Arley Manuel, III 63, Indianapolis, passed away on May 15, 2016. Rev. Manuel was currently the pastor of Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church for the past 23 years. He was a member of the Indiana Missionary Baptist State Convention and the Indiana Missionary Baptist Ministerial Alliance. He was also a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. Visitation will be Friday, May 20, 2016 from 3-8 p.m. at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 234 West Ray Street, with the Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 9610 E. 42nd St., with entombment at Crown Hill Cemetery.  He is survived by his wife, Sheila M. Anderson Manuel; children, Joy Nzao and Leonard A. Manuel, IV; 8 grandchildren; mother, Helen Craig; father, Rev. Leonard Manuel Jr. (Leatha); siblings, Gary, Darrell, Kenneth, Regina, Rhonda, Rashana and Bernice and a host of other relatives and friends. Larry G. Midkiff 79, passed on to join his wife Norma Midkiff who preceded him in death along with his parents Estel & Irene and brother Phillip Midkiff. Larry was retired from General Motors after 30 years and had served his country during the Korean War in the Navy. He is survived by his sisters; Marilyn, Nancy, and Linda, 5 children; Eschol, Leon, Norman, Rosemary, Roy, 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Miller, V. Richard (Dick)*  
V. Richard (Dick) Miller V. Richard (Dick) Miller, 76, of Englewood, Florida, formerly of Syracuse, IN, went to heaven at 3:37 p.m. on May 18, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Born July 27, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa to Wallace T. Miller and Enid Lillian Conklin Miller, the family moved to Warsaw, Indiana in 1947. Richard married his beloved wife of nearly 55 years, Jane Kay Rothrock, on August 19, 1961 after a whirl-wind courtship. Loving father to V. Richard Miller II (Barbara) and Pamela Sue Dilley (Jerry). Survived by siblings R. James Miller (Judy), Beverly Jean Miller and Barbara Jane Miller (Gary). Dick has six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Dick and Jane joined the family business in 1967—Miller's Merry Manors—founded in Warsaw, Indiana; the company grew to over 40 facilities in Indiana. Dick served in the Indiana State Senate from 1976 to 1988, six of those years in leadership. He was the recipient of numerous awards for his many accomplishments. The viewing will be Thursday, May 26 from 2-8 p.m. at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Milford, IN. The service will be held on Friday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church in Syracuse, IN. A meal and soiree will follow at South Shore Golf Club in Syracuse. Moore, Martin Joel*  
Martin Joel Moore 81, of Indianapolis, passed away May 22, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. Martin was born January 25, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN the son of the late Frank and Virginia Moore. He was a history teacher at North Central High School for 30 years as well as a local and international philanthropist through The Moore Foundation. He was a founding member of AMPATH in cooperation with Indiana University in Kenya and founded The Servant Leadership Program in 55 universities throughout the U.S. He produced and distributed the documentary film "Auschwitz: If You Cried You Died" to every middle school and high school in the U.S. Martin is survived by his wife: Susan Moore, sons: Mark (Colleen), Michael (Dede), Matthew (Kris), Joshua (Lourdes) and Zachary (Denise) Moore and 8 grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, May 26, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Funeral services will be Friday, May 27, 11:00 a.m. in St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 100 W 86th St, Indianapolis, 46260. Contributions may be made to The Village Cooperative, 4619 N.
