Angela M. Cox 48, of Beech Grove, passed away on April 26, 2015. Angela is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Cox; children, Shaun (Angel) Jones, Christian Jones, Nicholas Taylor, and Holly Cox; along with 6 grandchildren; mother, Catherine Parton; sister, Stephanie (Ray) Glowner; brother, James (Stephanie) Parton; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Angela was preceded in death by her father, James A. Parton. Cox, Cedric C. "Ced"*  
Cedric "Ced" C. Cox 81, passed away on April 25, 2015. He was born on February 26, 1934 in Brazil, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Wilma Cox. His education consisted of Brazil, IN schools, Franklin College, and Butler University. He received the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Divinity from Franklin College in 2001. He was the Director of Christian Education and Youth Ministries in the Logansport Baptist Temple (1957-1959), Indianapolis Garfield Park Baptist Church (1959-1964), Lafayette First Baptist Church (1964-1967), Bloomington First Baptist Church (1967-1972), and the Indianapolis First Baptist Church (1972-1976). He then became the Director of Educational Ministries for the American Baptist Churches of Indiana and  Kentucky (1976 - January 2001). He was the first recipient of the Kenneth L. Cober Award for Regional Christian Education in 1993. This award was presented by the American Baptist Churches of USA. A room in the new Carroll Youth Center at the National Conference Center in Green Lake, Wisconsin, was named for Ced in honor of his contribution to the ministry with youth in the denomination. He served as a consultant for the Indianapolis Center for Congregations. He was the American Baptist representative to the Network of  Higher Education Ministries Board (INHEM). He served on the planning team for numerous National Gatherings of American Baptist Youth. He was appreciated for his creative ideas, his caring attitude, being a good listener, and his leadership skills. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Jane, of fifty-five years; a daughter, Angie; a son-in-law, Michael Pogue; a son, Brian; and six grandchildren . There will be a private visitation time for the family Saturday, May 2, 2015 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Indianapolis First Baptist Church at 86th Street and College Avenue. Open visitation will follow from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Entombment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Crady, Lowell "Tony"*  
Lowell "Tony" Crady 82, passed from this life Monday, April 20, 2015. Born in Indiana, he was the son of the late Earl and Irene (Crippen) Crady. Sadly, Tony was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Lucie Mae Crady in 2010. Tony was proud to be an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Following military service, he became a teacher in Perry Township, Indiana. He was also an entrepreneur owning two Stride Rite shoe stores in Indianapolis.Tony and Lucy moved to The Villages from Indianapolis in 1997. He was a participant in The Villages' Senior Games and particularly enjoyed pickleball and golfing. Tony leaves behind and will be greatly missed by brothers, Carl Crady (Alice) of Riverview, FL, William Crady (Helen) of Indianapolis, IN, a sister, Gail Adkins of Indianapolis, IN and numerous nieces and nephews and several good friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, from 4 to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Hiers-Baxley on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

Crow, Phyllis Marie Hobbs*  
Phyllis Marie Hobbs Crow of Indianapolis, passed away on April 29, 2015. She was born February 13 in Chicago, Illinois to Lloyd Hulbert and Cora Marie (Drum) Hobbs. She worked for Continental Sales for 40 years. She was an avid bridge player. She loved ballroom dancing and was a member of the Continental Dance Club. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Roger) Nesbitt, Jennifer (Jerry) Buchanan, siblings Joann Long, Lloyd Hobbs, Barbara Pollock, and Suzanne Stanley, grandchildren Rachael, Hannah, Abigayle Nesbitt, Haley, Jacob, Grace Buchanan, Sian (Matt) Shilts, Olivia Crow and great grandson Rafe Rogers and her dog Buddy. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Crow, son Robert L. Crow. Celebration of Phyllis' life will be Saturday May 2, at 7 p.m. at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary.
