Edwards Sr., James R.*  
James R. Edwards, Sr. 68, Indianapolis, passed away on February 18, 2015. He was an Army veteran and retired from Union Carbide/Praxair as a Coating Worker. He was also a member of Christ Church Apostolic, where he had been Sunday School Treasurer. He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life; wife, Bobbie Edwards; children, James R. Edwards, Jr. (Sonya), Tierre Edwards, Sr., Bakari Edwards, Gabriel Edwards, Elonda Adair and Shawna Edwards; siblings, Donald Edwards, Sr. (Helen), Rufus Edwards, Sr. (Vera), Mary Phillips (Tony) and Estell McAllister; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. His visitation is on Satruday, Feb. 28 from  9 a.m. to  10:30 a.m., with the service at 10:30 a.m. in Christ Church Apostlic, 6601 Grandview Drive. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens. Hal R. Eksten 84, Crown Point, IN, recently of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday February 25, 2015. Hal was born in Shelbyville, IN, attended college at Wichita State University, served in the US Air Force, and worked in advertising in Chicago for over 30 years. Hal is survived by two sons, Frank and Hal; and grandchildren Anna, Erik, Beau and Aaron. Per his wishes, no services are planned.

Ellis, Alan S.*  
Alan S. Ellis 70, of McCordsville, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 in Ft Myers, FL. Alan was born February 15, 1944 In Philadelphia, PA to the late Myron and Freeda Ellis. He was a graduate of Wayne State University and served in the US Army. Alan is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, David S. (wife, Elaine) Ellis, Michael S. Ellis and Jessica L. Ellis-Calvert; grandchildren, Taylor R. Calvert and Mason S. Ellis; brothers, Raymond and Robert Ellis. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Ellis. Alan was a data engineer for Sprint Nextel for over 8 years, retiring in 2008. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 at E. 91st Street Christian Church, where family and friends are invited to gather from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rotary International One Rotary Center 1560 Sherman Ave. Evanston, IL 60201-3698. Escasa, Manuel J. S. "Manny"*  
Manuel J. S. "Manny" Escasa 54, of Indianapolis, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was born November 27, 1960, in Manila, Philippines, to Magnifia "Annie" Santos Escasa of West Lafayette and the late Vicente Escasa. Manny received his BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and went on to serve as a Quality Engineer at Fuji Component Parts USA, Inc. Manuel attended St. Thomas Aquinas Center and enjoyed volunteering for the Beach Grove Little League and Basketball programs coaching and keeping score, he was also an avid Purdue Fan. Surviving along with his mother are four sisters, Dr. Letty Bravo of New York, Dr. Mary Anne E. Goseco (Dr. Celso) of FL, Jean Lam (Charles) of MA and Maria Teresa Escasa-Wiliams (Wayne) of West Lafayette, two brothers, Vicente Escasa Jr of West Lafayette and Edward Escasa (Taeko) of Indianapolis, ten nieces and nephews, JR Bravo (Jenny), Marlette Austria (Arden), Marilou Yap (Dann), Dr. Prudence Lam (Mike Goldstein), Paul and Rich Lam, Justin Ryan Williams, Tia, Rina and Christian Escasa, four great niece and nephews, Nash, Daphne, Benjamin and Brooklyn. As well as very close friends, Jeff, Jackie and Bryce Billington. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Soller-Baker West Chapel, 1184 Sagamore Parkway W. West Lafayette, IN 47906. A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 27th at Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 2224 Sacramento Dr. West Lafayette, IN 47906 with Fr. Patrick Baikauskas O.P. officiating. Entombment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute in Manuel's name to the American Cancer Society. Feeney, Terrance W. "Terry"*  
Terrance "Terry" W. Feeney 76, Indianapolis, departed this life on February 26, 2015. He was born June 22, 1938 in Indianapolis the son of the late Francis and Helen (Curran) Feeney. He was a member of White River Yacht Club, American Legion #155, life time member of Knights of Columbus and a 1955 graduate of Cathedral High School.  Terry was a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1956-1958 on the USS Toledo. He is preceded in death by the love of his life Mary (Herr) Feeney, granddaughter Trisha Walker and sister Sharon Henry.  Terry is survived by his daughters: Debbie Walker, Teresa Massengale, Penny (Dale) Toon and Tracy (Dean) Riester, son: Terry Feeney, Jr. (Stacy), sisters: Maureen Wojciehowski, Patty Lindgren and Kathleen (Dan) Hill, brother: Tim (Aunita) Feeney, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life on Tuesday, March 03, White River Yacht Club, 1400 East 74th Street Indianapolis, from 6 - 8 p.m., with a brief service to begin at 7 p.m.  He loved playing cards and being with his friends and family.  Condolences may be offered at: feeneyhornakkeystone.com
