Hamilton, Michael David*  
Michael David Hamilton age 53, of Cincinnati, Ohio, (formerly of Indianapolis), passed away September 15, 2016. Michael is survived by his daughter, Andrea Otto (son in law, Jeremiah Otto) and his sisters, Angela K. Majino and Elizabeth A Swiezy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Carolyn Hamilton. A private service for family and close friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., on  Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Berean Baptist Church, 1191 West County Line Road, Greenwood, Indiana (46142). Walker Funeral Home, Cincinnati is serving the family.

Harlett, Christina L.*  
Christina L. Harlett 67, Pittsboro, passed away Sept. 25, 2016. She was a registered nurse and had worked at Humana Women's Hospital. She was a member of St. Malachy Church. Survivors include her husband John Harlett; sons Aaron Harlett (Lori Bottom) and Alex (Kelly) Harlett; brother Jack Esdale; sisters Kathy Newlove and Leslye Lounsberry; grandchildren Lilly Harlett and Orion Bottom. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thurs. Sept. 29 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services 10 a.m. Fri. Sept. 30 at St. Malachy Church. Burial will be in St. Malachy Cemetery West, Pittsboro. The family also wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Brownsburg Meadows. Contributions may be made to Sheltering Wings. Hawes, George J.*  
George J. Hawes 87, of Anderson, passed away on September 21, 2016 at Countryside Manor Health and Living Community. He was born on December 24, 1928 in Columbus, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson. George graduated from Arsenal Technical High School of Indianapolis in 1947, and Purdue University in 1953 where he earned a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Engineering. He retired from Delco Remy in 1989. He was a member of Central Christian Church where he served as an Elder, Deacon, and Trustee. He was an Eagle Scout and former Scout Master, and he earned the Silver Beaver award for his work as an adult volunteer. He was a long time active member and past president of the American Cancer Society of Madison County, past president of the Anderson Exchange Club and past president of the Madison County Lincoln Club. He also was a former precinct committeeman and won the "Abe Lincoln Award" as Madison County's Republican of the Year in 1972.  George was a former member of the Elks Lodge #209, the Moose Lodge #150, and the Legion of the Moose #36. George is survived by his loving sons, George Kelly (Teri) Hawes and William Kevin (Donna) Hawes both of Anderson; grandchildren, Erin (Dan) Maden, Michelle (Eric) Lusher, Susan (Doug) McElroy, Christopher Hawes, Sam Hawes, Jason Hawes, and Mackenna Hawes; and great-grandchildren, Sean Maden and Jocelyn Lusher. Also surviving are a brother, Tom (Donna) Hawes, brother-in-law, Paul (Tina) Smith, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Nancye E. (Smith) Hawes; daughter, Kimberly Ellen Hawes; mother,  Mary (Hawes) Greene; and father, Stanley Jackson. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 25, 2016, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St.  Anderson, IN. Services will be Monday, September 26, 2016, 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Rick Vale officiating. Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Hawk, Carol Sue*  
Carol Sue Hawk 74, Greenwood, Sept. 25, 2016. Born in Terre Haute, IN to the late Maurice Alfred & Mildred (Landes) Morge, she loved God, time in prayer and bible scripture. A devoted mother and grandmother, she had a gift of showing love and kindness to everyone she met. She will be remembered for her warmth and sincerity. Survivors include her children, Lisa (Greg) White, David Hawk, Nathan (Kim) Hawk; her six grandchildren, Kristen, Matthew, Allison, Alexander, Madelynn, Audrey and her brother Alfred Morge. Memorial visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29 at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, followed by the Memorial service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made for Type 1 Diabetes Research at Faustman Lab ( www.faustmanlab.org ). Hawkins, Diana H. "Dee"*  
Diana "Dee" H. Hawkins 87, of Zionsville, IN, passed away on September 22nd, 2016 due to complications from Alzheimer's. She was born on April 22, 1929 in Euclid, OH to George J. and Gwendlyn Hawkey. Dee graduated from Euclid Central H.S. and Connecticut College. After raising three children as an active Coast Guard wife, she became a certified kitchen and bath designer and ran her own design company for 20 years. But her greatest passion in life can be best summed up by how a dear friend would introduce her, "This is Dee, she's a dancer!" Dee was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Timothy S. Hawkey; and her daughter, Gwen H. McDonald. She is survived by her two sons, Steven J. (Jeannie) Hawkins of Texas and Thomas E. (Julie) Hawkins of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held in San Antonia, TX at a later date.
