Clyde E. Fields

79, of Plainfield, passed away March 11, 2014. He was born July 11, 1934 in Eubank, KY to the late George and Margaret Fields. He was an Army veteran. Clyde was a press operator for Bemis Bag Company 26 years. He retired from National Printing Plate in 1994 after 19 years as plant manager. His memberships include Center Community Church, Indianapolis Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, Bridgeport Masonic Lodge # 162 where he was past Master and Bridgeport Order of Eastern Star where he was past Patron.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 15, at 1:30 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call on Friday, March 14, from 3:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Fields; sons, William Scott (Connie) and Charles Allen (Treana) Fields; daughter, Brenda Kay (Karl) Ewig; brother, Robert Lee Fields; sisters, Ruth Bradley, Frances Dawes and Carole Summers; grandchildren, Jason (Crystal) and Matthew (Mary) Ewig, Kyle Ewig, Christopher (Sarah) and Timothy Fields; great grandchildren, Natalie, Isabelle and Axel Ewig.
