Dorsey Lee Littrell

92, passed away on June 15, 2014 in Greenwood Village South.

He was born June 2, 1922 in Indianapolis to the late Dale and Opal (Dorsey) Littrell.

Dorsey was a 1940 graduate of George Washington High School. He started working at Link Belt Corp. after high school, but shortly enlisted into the United States Army 104th "Timber Wolf" Infantry, where he served in Germany and was honored with the Purple Heart being shot twice. He returned to Link Belt, where he retired after 45 and a half years. He enjoyed golf and bowling and loved his family and friends.

Dorsey is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Deanna (Max) Beaver; son, Greg Littrell; 3 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren; brother, Roland Littrell and sisters, Lila Lambert and Betty Gentry.

He was preceded in death by first wife, Orpha "Penny" Littrell; brother, Robert Littrell and sister, Doloris Baxter.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 in Speedway Christian Church, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time in the church. Entombment will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
