Edward Adair Sr.

Edward L. Adair Sr.

88, passed away on July 23, 2013 in his home town of Indianapolis. He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School and proudly served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Cabot during WWII. He retired from the Indianapolis Power and Light Company after more than 40 years of service and enjoyed his second "career" working at Market Square Arena and then Conseco Field House as a ticket taker. Ed was a Mason, member of the Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Frances L. Zimmerman Adair and brother, Ulysses S. Adair. Ed leaves behind two children, Edward L. Adair, Jr. and Laura Kathrin Adair Abel, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon in Crown Hill Funeral Home , with funeral services following immediately at Noon.
