Edward Donque Adams

81, Indianapolis, died on September 30, 2011.

An honorably discharged veteran of the U. S. Army, he was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #15015 and the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #3 and a member of the Tillman S. Harpole American Legion Post #249. He was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for 28 years, retiring in 1988.

On Friday, October 7, 2011, there will be calling from Noon to 2:30 p.m., with a Celebration of Life Service at 2:30 p.m. at Stuart Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his sons and daughters, Elwyn Michael Wilson, Edward D. Adams, Jr., Janice Adams, Dawnn Baxter, M. Stephen Adams, Demetrius Adams and Julie Adams-Graves; grandchildren; sister, Lenora Jameson, a host of relatives and friends.
