Eira Louise Nott Krug

69, of Indianapolis, passed away February 14, 2013. She was born in Indianapolis, October 30, 1943. She was the first of three children born to Sherman Graham and Vivian Lucas Nott.

Eira was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and volunteered at Cornerstone Baptist Academy. She enjoyed having robust conversations about politics and religion and liked to keep up with current events. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge as well as a member of the National Rifle Association, and was a hostess for Shirley Brothers Mortuaries for several years. She served in numerous ways throughout her life in her church, and loved visiting with her friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 17, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel , 9606 E. Washington St. with funeral services Monday at 10:00 a.m.

Eira is survived by her four children, Donald (Shannon) Krug, Kathleen (Kevin) Monday, Becky (Todd) Taylor and Carol Maxson; brother, Steven (Jackie) Nott; sister, Rebecca Nott; 11 grandchildren, Felicia (Kraig) Hamblen, Julia Monday, Zachary, Micah, Rachel, Caleb and Nathaniel Taylor, Kayla Rose and Meredith Lee Maxson, Brittany Haywood and Matthew Krug. She was expecting her first great-grandson in April. Eira was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Louis Edward Krug.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Academy.
