Frederick W. Ahrbecker

Frederick W. Ahrbecker 73, Plainfield, IN, passed away on October 8, 2007 in his residence. He was born on November 9, 1933 in Park Ridge, Illinois to Frederick W. Ahrbecker and Frances Peters. He married Nancy Shumaker in 1962 in Indianapolis, she survives. He was an Air Force veteran. Frederick worked for 32 years as a mechanic for US Airways. He enjoyed sailing and was a member of the Eagle Creek Sailing Club. Calling hours will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday October 10, 2007 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. October 11, 2007 in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Shumaker Ahrbecker; son, Bill Ahrbecker; grandchildren, Max, Luke and Amy Ahrbecker.
