Kathleen Reilly Carroll

76, peacefully and surrounded by her family passed into the Lord's loving arms on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Kay was a devout Catholic and had a very close relationship with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church.

Kay was born in Malone, New York, to Alice and Jerry Reilly on April 8, 1936. Kay is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Richard (Dick) of Indianapolis, IN. She was a wife, homemaker, mother of five children, and best friend to her family. She was the world's greatest mother. Kay was an accomplished cook and an avid reader. She had a rich sense of humor, enjoyed the outdoors and golfed.

Two sons, Philip and Christopher; and a sister, Patricia, preceded her to heaven. She is also survived by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Sandorf and husband Kermit of Lake Saint Louis, MO; son, Mark and wife Greta of Carmel, IN; and son, Steven (Steve) of Kent, WA; ten grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Kay's sister, Mary Alice (Mimi) Yando and her husband Doug live in Malone. She has numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kay was also blessed with many genuine friends. The family also wants to acknowledge Kay's close friend Mary M. at ManorCare at Summer Trace along with the caring staff. They also thank Heartland Hospice.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 23, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel , 86th Street, to celebrate her life.
