Leo Joseph Robas

89 of Indianapolis passed away on August 1, 2014. He was born in Smithfield, PA. He served in the Merchant Marines and then he worked as a Carpenter Foreman for Glen Roy Construction. He was a professional musician for over 50 years. His memberships include, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the VFW, American Legion, Merchant Marine Veterans, Moose Lodge 17, Musician's Union and Slovenian Culture Society. Leo is preceded in death by his first wife, May Robas and step-daughter Carlene Day. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife Pauline, son, Ron (Joy) Robas, step-children, Nick (Judy) Arnold, Jay Arnold and Jonna Arnold, grandson, Ron (Summer) Robas, Jr., 5 step-grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, 5 step-great-grandchildren and 4 nieces. Friends may call Monday, August 4, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East , 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46219.
