Leonard A. Nolcox

75, Indianapolis, passed away on December 2, 2012. Born in Lyles Station, Indiana, he and his bride, Mary D. Priestly Nolcox moved to Indianapolis In 1957.

A member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, he had worked at the U. S. Postal Service, retiring in 1992.

On Saturday, December 8, there will be a Celebration of Life service at Noon, with visitation from 10 a.m. to Noon at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 5111 West 62nd St. Interment will be at Washington Park Cemetery North.

His survivors include his wife, Mary D. Nolcox; daughters, Blenda (Gilbert) Johnson and Elvira (Jeffery) Whitaker and son, Brett (Mia) Nolcox; brother, Arman (Tanya) Nolcox; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Earl and Thelma Nolcox and a sister, Cora Nolcox McKay.
