Monte James Wilson

72, of Greenfield, IN, passed away on February 10, 2013. He was born February 29, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Emile James and Sally Mae (Browning) Wilson. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1967, receiving a commendation for his actions in the Cuban Crisis. He worked for International Harvester as an area manager for 15 years then CMW Inc as a senior application engineer for 22 years, retiring in 2010. Monte helped coach his sons little league and Babe Ruth League teams. Monte is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Collins) Wilson; children, Michael, Andrew (Wendy), Timothy Wilson, Sheryl "Sheri" (Gary) Garner; step-children Lonnie Hoversten, Rebecca Bolton, Justin McDaniel; sister, Deedree K. Schaedel; 5 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Claire (Foss) Wilson. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 14 at 11 a.m. in Fee ney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary . Burial will be in Gravel Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service in the mortuary. Condolences may be offered at:
