Virgil L. Bultman

86, ending an incredible journey died peacefully at home Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at his home in Greenwood. Born Oct. 20, 1926 in Batesville, to the late Leroy and Lillian Frances Bultman. He was the youngest of 4 children, his three older siblings, Raymond & Sylvester Bultman and Alvina Chandos all preceded him in death.

Virgil was deeply loved and will be missed by his wife, soul mate and best friend,

"Jean" (Arvin) Bultman whom he married on Aug. 20, 1949 at St. Peters Church in Montgomery, Indiana. They celebrated 63 years of marriage Aug. 20, 2012. It seemed each day was a gift to them and their love grew as each day passed. Also surviving are children, Debra (Bill) McCoy, Janet Albers, Ron (Kathy) Bultman and Cheryl (Ed) Perry; ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren - who gave him much pleasure.

Virgil was a US Army veteran of WW II. He was co-owner and President of Meridian Engine Exchange for 28 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church for 46 years and member of Knights of Columbus # 3660.

Visitation: 3-8:00 PM on Friday, Oct. 26 at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, and from 8:30 am - 9:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home followed by the prayer service at 9:00 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Sat Oct. 27 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions: St. Barnabas Catholic Church. http://www.ghherrmann.com
