Winifred D. Albertz

103, passed away on January 23, 2013 in Indianapolis, IN. Born March 7, 1909 in Scotland, she was the daughter of John and Williamina (Watt) Liddle. Winnie was previously a designer for Vogue in Chicago before marrying William H. Albertz on May 14, 1938. She joined the Newcomers Club when she moved to Indianapolis in 1974 and enjoyed playing bridge, cooking, sewing and attending her grandchildren's sports activities. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Colts and the Pacers. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Albertz. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (John) Timble; grandchildren, David (LeAnn) Timble, John (Tracy) Timble and Amy (J.R.) Hogan. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Clayton and Katie Timble, Bailey, Evan and Ella Hogan. Memorial visitation for Winnie will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 28th in Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary .
