Phyllis J Hurley

of Indianapolis, IN, age 88, passed away on May 13, 2016 at Westminster Village nursing home in Terre Haute, IN. Phyllis was born in Peru IN on February 11, 1928. She was a 1946 graduate of Peru High School. She retired after 20 years as a School Teacher at Perry Worth Elementary in the Lebanon Community Schools System.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her Husband William R Hurley. She is survived by her children: Bruce Hurley (Indianapolis, IN), Craig Hurley (North Aurora, IL), and Jill & Martin Nagy (Rosedale, IN). Other survivors include: her grandchildren: Ryan Hurley, Anna Nagy, Sasha Nagy, Erin Hurley and Maya Nagy.

A simple private memorial service is planned for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or any Hospice group. Arrangements handled by Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
