Audrey Billett

90, died at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 3, 2014. The cause of death was from pneumonia and staff infection. Audrey had been a resident of Westminster Village North for the past five years.

She was born on November 13, 1923 in Marshalltown, Iowa. Audrey was a registered nurse and served as an Officer in the United States Army stationed in the Philippines in World War II. After the war Audrey received a BS degree from the University of Texas and a Master's Degree from Miami University in Guidance and Counseling. Audrey held various leadership positions in Nursing Education at various medical facilities, including St. Elizabeth's Hospital and Dayton Children's Psychiatric Hospital.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Robert. Audrey is survived by her two children, Margaret and Jonathan Hargis and her two step-sons, Jeffrey and Todd Billett. Audrey had 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Audrey was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24 at 1 p.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Oakwood, Ohio. Memorial contributions are welcome and can be made online to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 33 W. Dixon Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45419.
