Carrlis Edwin "Ed" Camden

86, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Indianapolis, died on May 16, 2013. Ed was born on August 19, 1926 in Freedom, IN, to Roy Ray and Monnie Myrtle (Kay) Camden. Ed served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Ed was a retired educator for MSD Wayne Township School Systems, in Indianapolis.

Ed was a member of the Ben Davis Christian Church and the Bridgeport Masonic Lodge # 126 F & AM and the Indiana A.S.B.O. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou (Riggins) Camden and his brother, Eugene LeRoy Camden.

Calling will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in Flanner and Buchanan - Speedway from 4 to 8 p.m., followed by a funeral service on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the funeral center.

Ed is survived by his son, John David (Beverly) Camden and his grandsons, John David (Sherry) Camden Jr and Matthew Camden and two great-grandchildren, Lindsey and John David Camden III.
