Carter Catherine Nebesio

7, of Zionsville, IN, passed away Sept. 26, 2013 after a 17-month battle with leukemia. She was born November 7, 2005 to Todd and Chris (Goff) Nebesio in Indianapolis. Carter was a student at Pleasant View Elementary.

Carter will be forever remembered by her family and all who loved her as a vivacious, strong, brave fighter who never let her diagnosis define her. Carter had a love of life unparalleled for her young age and spent endless hours with her dolls, kicking it on the soccer field, laughing with friends, and playing with her brother, William. Her contagious smile lit every room and her abundant happiness spread to all who cared for her.

Carter is survived by her parents, brother, grandparents Daniel and Margy Nebesio and Lynda M. Goff, aunt Carey Goff, and uncle and godfather Patrick Goff. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Dwayne Goff.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan - Zionsville, 105 W. Pine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 1870 W. Oak, Zionsville, where Carter was a member.
