Harry McAllister

86, Zionsville, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday at Zionsville Meadows in Zionsville. He was an engineering manager for Indiana Bell. He was a 32 degree Mason. He also designed additions to the Unity Truth Center Church in Indianapolis. He was a US Army, WWII, 82nd Airborne veteran. His memberships included: Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Indiana Telephone Pioneers, New Hope Christian Church, Trader's Point Christian Church, and Irvington Masonic Lodge. He was a Ben Davis H.S. graduate.

He was born February 16, 1926 in Olney, IL to Harry C. & Lola (Wingert) McAllister. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kiley. Additional survivors include Son, John McAllister of Crawfordsville; Daughter, Kathy McAllister of Highland Ranch, CO; Brothers, Wilbur Thomas McAllister of Greencastle and Larry McAllister of Florida; Sisters, Joanne Day of Morgantown and Carolyn Abbott of Florida; and 1 grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Keil.

The funeral service is at 11:00 AM, Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with visitation there from 4:00 -7:00 PM, Friday, and Mason Rites at 6:45 PM. The burial is at Ladoga Cemetery with rites by the VFW and American Legion.
