Harvey V. Keesling

Passed away peacefully on February 9, 2014 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Kathleen, in 2007, and his son-in-law, Tom Noll, in 1995. Harvey will be forever remembered by his five children and their families, Deborah Keesling-Noll of Livermore, CA, Elizabeth Wills (Doug) of Greenfield, John Keesling (Sandy) of Nineveh, Pamela Smock (Mitch) of New Palestine and Jeff Keesling (Tina) of Indianapolis. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a niece; a nephew; and a younger sister.

Harvey was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and was a member of the Greatest Generation. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 40 years of service, and was employed with F.C. Tucker Realty for several years. Harvey was a 50 year member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be Friday, February 14, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel , 9606 E. Washington St. with funeral services Saturday at 12 noon.
