Johanna Frederika Bruyn "Miss Johanna"

66, of Westfield, died July 12, 2014. She was born on the Island of Morotai, Indonesia to the late Jan and Leni Bruyn. She was known as "Miss Johanna" and taught children's ballet and adult ballroom dancing in the Indianapolis area for many years. Johanna's spirit touched the lives of thousands of people and she loved all creatures large and small. She had the most amazing gift of being able to learn and remember the names of hundreds of children for each ballet session. She is survived by her significant other, William (Bill) Kolts; son, Skip Copeland Jr.; sister, Nelleke; and brothers, Peter and Jan-Willem. A commemoration service is to take place August 9, 2014, 1:30 p.m. EDT at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, 5805 East 56th St, Indianapolis, IN 46226. Her wishes were for cremation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her favorite charity "" of Utah (435) 644-2001.
