L. Donald Nagy

passed away peacefully with his loving wife at his side on Tuesday September 3, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospice. He attended Warren High School in Warren, MI, and graduated from Michigan State in 1967. After accepting a job at Allison, he later found his calling in the insurance industry and worked his way to become an executive vice president with McGowan Insurance Group. His passion in life was watching Michigan State Spartans play football and basketball as well as volunteering as a football coach at Hamilton Southeastern High School. He was also a Member of the Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge # 398, Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, and the Murat Shrine.

Don is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda; sons, Brian Louis (Abby), Jason (Emily); grandchildren, Jackson Louis and Benjamin Louis.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hamilton Southeastern Royals Varsity Club c/o the Football Program, caringbridge.org, Shriner's Hospitals for Children, c/o the Multiple Myeloma Foundation.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday at Washington Park North Cemetery in the Great Hall Chapel at Noon, with a gathering to follow from 1-4 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park North . Online condolences may be made at http://www.flannerbuchanan.com.
