Louise A. Faust Brandau

77, of Columbus, IN. died at 11:40 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Mrs. Brandau was born October 24, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN. the daughter of the late William and Flora Hunt Faust.

She married Gerald F. Brandau July 30, 1960 in Indianapolis, IN. and he survives.

Mrs. Brandau graduated from St. Mary's Academy in Indianapolis, IN.

She was a legal secretary at White, Raub, Reis & Wick Law Firm in Indianapolis, IN. for 26 years. She worked for Arvin-Meritor in Columbus, IN. and retired from Schwartz Pharma in Seymour, IN.

Mrs. Brandau was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Columbus, IN. where she was a member and past president of the Daughters of Isabella.

She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe.

The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church at 1306-27th St., Columbus, IN. 47201.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel at 1022 Pearl St., Columbus, IN. 47201 and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.

A Rosary service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The Committal Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Calvary Cemetery at 435 West Troy Ave., Indianapolis, IN. 46220.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Haiti Parish through St. Bartholomew Catholic Church or to the donor's choice of charities.

Surviving with her husband of 53 years are 4 nieces, Cheryl (Bill) Bedwell of Morgantown, IN., Sue Knopp of Fishers, IN., Donna Faust of Indianapolis, IN. and Julie (Jerry) Martin of Lawrence, KS. And 2 nephews, Ronald (Jan) Faust of Minneapolis, MN. And Jeff (Cindy) Brandau of Kansas City, KS.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Brandau was also preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Faust.
