Mark S. Cahoon

60, Indianapolis, passed September 4, 2012. Born September 8, 1951 in Gloucester, Massachusetts to Elizabeth Presbruhi and the late Raymond Cahoon.

He graduated from Suffolk University, in Boston, in 1974 with a degree in Business Management. Mark was employed at the state and federal levels of government including President of Council of State Chambers of Commerce and the Executive Director of the Committee on State Taxation. Since 1993 he has been employed by the Indiana Manufacturers Association holding the office of Director of Taxation. Among a myriad of professional accomplishments was serving as primary spokesman for business interest as Congress revised the Social Security program in order to avoid bankruptcy.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Robyn McMahon; son, Fletcher, daughter-in-law, Virginia, and grandson, Owen; mother, Elizabeth; brother, Bruce; sister, Deb; preceded by sister, Michelle.

Funeral will be Wednesday, September 12th at 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, Remembrance Hall. Calling will be Tuesday, September 11th from 5-8:00pm at Crown Hill Funeral Home, Remembrance Hall. Burial: Crown Hill Cemetery.
