Michael D. Warwick
38, of Greenwood, Indiana, formerly of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 23, 2013. He was born on July 2, 1974 in Springfield, the son of David C. (Samantha) Warwick and Beverly J. (Tom) Cummings. Michael is survived by his parents; siblings, Matthew (Craig) Warwick, Amanda (Dan) Jenkins, Phillip Warwick and Jacob Warwick; nieces, Andrea (Taylor) Chapman, Allison Jenkins and Alexa Jenkins; great-niece, Emma Chapman; aunts and uncles, Sherry (Ike) Holbert, Janilyn Shuman, Barb (Greg) Harlow, Judy (Pat) Shuman-Hill and James Shuman; very close cousins, Greg, Jennifer, Robert, Rhonda and Josh; and special friend Michael Carter. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Mary Warwick, Ernest and Marilyn Shuman; and Uncle Bob Shuman. Michael, along with his friend Michael Carter, owned and operated Auntie M's Tea Room in Morgantown, Indiana and also worked at IUPUI for several years. Michael had many hobbies, including collecting celebrity autographs which he enjoyed very much. He was an active person who volunteered his time for numerous sports including being an usher for the Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis and a ball boy for professional tennis tournaments. He loved to travel, especially his trips to New York City. Michael will always be remembered for being an adventurous person who knew how to enjoy life and live to its fullest.
