Patricia Erwin Obituary

Patricia "Trish" O'Banion Erwin

53, passed away February 5, 2014 in Carmel, IN. She was born on December 22, 1960 to Robert W. O'Banion (deceased) and Ruth E. O'Banion. Trish graduated from IU in the School of Education but really did not find her calling as a teacher. Trish was a people person who loved working in customer service. She was the ultimate hostess who treated her customers like royalty. She was devoted to her customers and had a special rapport with them at Sahm's Restaurant where she spent 28 years in her career as a bartender.

Trish was a dedicated mother who went out of her way to help not only her children, Brett and Brianne, but also anyone else that she knew. She was also a loving wife to her husband, Jim who she treasured and who always stood by her side. She loved life and was always ready to get up and go to work and get on with life. Trish had a way of making people laugh and make comments about things in life that made serious things seem not so serious. We will truly miss our beautiful Trish and the warmth and comfort she brought to us with her smile, her jokes, and her laugh.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Erwin; son, Brett Erwin, daughter Brianne Erwin; stepson, Bill Erwin; mother, Ruth E. O'Banion; sisters, Kathy O'Banion, Char Curley and Laura McConnell; brother, Tim O'Banion (deceased); brother-in-law and wife, Tom and Kathy Erwin.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Bussell Family Funerals , 1621 E. Greyhound Pass, Carmel, IN. Funeral services for the family will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Bussell Family Funerals.

Memorial contributions can be made for the Trish Erwin Education Fund to Sahm's Restaurant, 11505 Allisonville Road, Fishers, IN 46038 with envelopes available in the funeral home.
