Richard J. Wheaton

Born in Mansfield, Ohio on April 24, 1925 was the son of Earnest S. Wheaton and Marjorie A (Karns) Wheaton. Richard (Dick) died on November 17, 2012 in Zionsville, Indiana at the age of 87, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Constance (Connie) Alexander and wife Patricia M. (McKinley) Wheaton, brother-in-law Lloyd Kroger and sister-in-law Rosie McKinley. He is survived by his wife Betty R. (Dragoo) Wheaton. Survivors also include: sisters Barbara Feucht ( Paul ) and Mary Kroger, brothers-in- law Albert J (AJ) Alexander (Penny ) and Orman O. ( Mac ) Mc Kinley, sisters-in-law Betty Jean LeClare (Don) and Martha (Marty) Harding (Joe), children R. John M. Wheaton ( Joyce ) and Jane A. ( Brown ) Wheaton, grandchildren Abigail Brown, Andrew ( AJ ) Brown, Joanna Wheaton, Jonathon Wheaton and Jenna Wheaton. Also surviving are many nephews and nieces.

No formal Services are planned.

There will be an interment for Richard and Patricia Wheaton on December 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Crown Hill's Cremation Memorial Gardens. All are welcome to attend and meet in silent prayer to reflect on their lives, share a memory, poem or song.
