Robert Paul "Bob" Andrews

Passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.

He married Opal Lucille Parnell on July 1, 1949. Bob is survived by five children, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by his wife, Opal.

Bob retired from the U.S. Army in 1981. He retired from Allison's GMC in 1982.

Bob was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, and member of the Greenwood American Legion Post No. 252.

He was a member of the American Indian Council, and the Cherokee Elders Council.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle, Indiana. Friends may call on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. A Masonic Service will be held on Thursday, September 19th at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Andrews has requested donations to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, International Headquarters, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607 or the Cherokee Elders Council, Box 163, 101 Market Place, Locust Grove, Oklahoma 74352.
