Rollan W. "Buzz" Perry

84, of Indianapolis passed away December 14, 2012. He was born March 12, 1928 in Indianapolis, to the late Wiley C. and Dollie Ray Perry. Survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Lula B. Perry.

Rollan graduated from Manuel High School, A Bachelors from Indiana University and graduated from Butler School of Pharmacy. Rollan served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was employed with Schering Plough and Fleming Pharmaceutical Companies.

Rollan was a passionate supporter of IU athletics and a Fraternity Brother of the Sigma Nu Beta Eta Chapter. He was a member and past commander of the American Legion Post #495, Murat Shrine, F. &A.M. Scottish Rite, Southport Masonic Lodge #270 with a 33rd degree, and 20 years of service and volunteer work for AA and Fairbanks Hospital.

Rollan is survived by his children; sons, Scott Perry (Jill), John Perry, Keith Madix (Carlene), Mike Madix (Shina); daughters, Sally Perry, Susan Aitkin (Jim), Sylvia Neptune (Steve), 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel , 9606 E. Washington St. with funeral services Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, shrinershospitalsforchildren.org
