Ron was a unique character, a good son, brother and father. He helped care for his parent in their last years. He was an avid reader and studied American History and Native American Culture. He collected many objects of historical significance and old books and magazines. He loved fishing, hunting and trapping. He had a great concern for our Indianapolis Water Ways and the animals that lived on them. These passions he learned from his father. While not a person to seek out organized religion Ron had a true love and understanding of the Lord and an active compassion for others. This included his friends under the bridges of White River. These things he learned from his mothers. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed being with his friends at his campsite in Rockford, Indiana.
He was a member of the White River Conservation Club, Capital City Conservation Club and Victor Conservation Club.
