Ronald L. Faulkner

Age 78, peacefully joined his Savior on Oct. 2, 2013.He was born on March 21, 1935 in Peoria, IL to the late, Charles and Mildred Faulkner. He is also preceded in death by brother, Charles; son, Steven; and grandson, Nathan Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lucille Faulkner; daughters, Wanda (Dennis) Smith, Nadine (Gary) Jones, and Charlotte Faulkner (Fred Ferguson); sons, Michael (Sherry), Floyd (Naomi), Ronald (Sandy), and Douglas (Elena), 24 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Ronald retired from Allison Gas Turbine after 30 years of service. He was a charter member of Southport Lions Club and the charter president of the Danville Lions Club. He also was a member of the Gideon's international and a longtime member of the New Winchester Missionary Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends, Monday, October 7, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care , 5791 Rockville Rd.
