Suzanne J. Biddle Belcher

77, of Rochester, passed away on August 8, 2014. On September 19, 1935, Suzanne was born to Chester B. and Edith Cornwell Biddle. Suzanne and Richard E. Belcher were married on August 11, 1957 in Remington, IN Survivors include her husband, Dick at home; 2 daughters, Cynthia Maves of Columbus, Ohio, Nancy Gruesser and husband, David of Zionsville; a son, Dr. Daniel Belcher M.D. and wife, Jenny of Carmel; 7 grandchildren, William, Clare, Rachel, Nicole, Erica, Luke and Grace. Preceding Suzanne in death are her parents, and a granddaughter, Katherine Jane Belcher. A celebration of the life of Mrs. Suzanne J. Biddle Belcher will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in the Grace United Methodist Church, 201 West 7th St., Rochester with Rev. Maurice Grindle officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will be in Rochester's IOOF Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to the Suzanne Belcher Unrestricted Fund through the Northern Indiana Community Foundation, 715 Main Street, Rochester, IN 46975. All contributions will be matched dollar for dollar through the Lilly Endowment matching program. All contributions will be used for charitable purposes in Fulton County.
