Indianapolis, born October 3, 1932 died February 18, 2013, at Marquette Health Center after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. He was 80 years of age. A native of Ann Arbor, MI, Syd held both a B.B.A. and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. He spent his entire career in marketing and advertising, retiring as a Senior Vice President, Marketing Director for Bank One, Indianapolis and Banc One Indiana Corporation. He also served on the Board of Directors at WFYI, Crossroads Rehabilitation Center, and the Catholic Youth Organization public relations committee. Syd was also a U.S. Army veteran. An avid athlete, Syd played on the University of Michigan basketball team, but his true passion was racquet sports.
