Willie Blake Maki

93, passed away on October 5, 2013. She was born December 6, 1919 in Polkton, NC to the late Columbus M. and Ella (Moore) Austin. Willie married Denha J. Maki, and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved reading, spending time with her family, especially cooking all the holiday meals.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 9, 2013, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Wash ington Memorial Chapel , 9606 E. Washington St.

Willie is survived by her loving children, Dennis Maki (Earlene), Susan Hackleman, Sara Smith (Mark), Steven Maki (Pam) and Sandra Cline (Keith); brother, Jack Austin; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Children, Patricia, Ronald and Janice Maki; two sisters; and four brothers, preceded her in death.
