Betty Jo Jackson
Avon, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. She was an active member of the John Wesley Free Methodist Church and will be greatly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years and soul mate, Billy L. Jackson; daughters, Terri McGavock and Kathy (Mike) Childers; grandchildren, Holly McGavock, Heather (Jose) Gomez, Justin (Nicole) Childers; and 1 great-grandchild who was the light of her life, Ethan Joshua Loveday. She is also survived by brother, JWill Brown and sister, Ilene Page. Betty was preceded in death by sisters, Imogene Green, Cotton Myers, Trula Henegar; parents, Esco and Elizabeth Brown; grandson, Joshua Childers.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jackson will be held at Flanner and Buchanan -Speedway on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 1 p.m., with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Entombment will follow in Washington Park North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the
