Garland Edward "Ed" Duncan

86, of Indianapolis, passed away February 20, 2014. He was born in Friendsville, TN, and served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre during WW II. He was retired from Chrysler and loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Mildred Duncan in 1994 and Jackie Light Duncan in 2013, and his daughter, Anna Lee Duncan.

Ed is survived by two daughters, Rosemary Scroggins and Garla Duncan of Muncie, Indiana; brothers: Larry, Buford, Gary, Stanley, and Perry; sisters: Willie May, Ruth Ann, Linda, Lois and Brenda; 4 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and his stepson and caregiver, Mike Light.

Funeral services with military rites will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2014 in the Good Shepherd Chapel at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens , 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
