Linda C. Turk

71, Greenwood, went to be with the Lord May 2, 2014. Born November 28, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late Horace R. and Lois White, she was a homemaker; active member and bible school teacher at Greenwood Church of Christ. Linda was a passionate bowler, and enjoyed shopping, crocheting, knitting and video games. She volunteered with both ALS and Leukemia organizations.

She will be loved and missed by her three sons, John A. Turk II (Donna), Jason M. Turk (Connie) and Justin N. Turk (Jackie); 7 grandchildren, Katrina, Jarod, Kyra, Taiylor, Conan, Josie and Sara; brothers, Donald Horning, Mark White; many nieces, nephews and her dog Misty. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John A. Turk and brothers, Thomas Horning and Dennis White.

Visitation: 4-8:00 p.m. Monday, May 5 at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch , 1605 South State Road 135.
