Peggy Marlin

Indianapolis, passed away on Friday May 23, 2014. She was born the daughter of Jesse and Ethel (Latchaw) Merrill in Fulton County, Indiana. Having acquired employment with the McCarty family, she moved to Greensburg with the family after her formal education. She was married to James Marlin on June 10, 1961 in the Greensburg Baptist Church and they established a home in Southport, IN. She was employed in the communication industry until 1999 when she retired maintaining membership in the A.B.W.A. Peggy enjoyed reading and was admired in the neighborhood for her green thumb when working in her yard.

Peggy was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Marlin and is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Jim; son, Jay Marlin; daughter-in-law, Linda; sister, Mary Avery; brother, Melvin Merrill; sister-in-law, Nancy Bradford; step brother, Kenneth McCarty and step sister-in-law, Claudia McCarty.

Per Peggy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
