Leona Grace "Lee" Schuler

91, of Indianapolis, passed away June 15, 2014. She was born August 4, 1922 in Akron, Ohio to the late Philip and Mary (Kungle) Schneider. Leona was a member of Nativity Catholic Church since 1956, she volunteered at the Franklin Township Cancer Society and was a CD of A leader at Nativity Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, James T. Schuler; daughters, Sandra Robinson and Kathy (Tony) Lee; sons, Jimmy, Jr. (Mary Lou), Eugene (Donna) Schuler; son-in-law, Charlie Ritter; brother, George (Tillie) Schneider; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Leona was preceded in death by her daughters, Mary Schuler and Susan Ritter; son, Philip Schuler; and sisters, Katherine Pfeiffer and Mary Schuster. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Nativity Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. in the church. Feeney- Hornak Shadeland Mortuary is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Nativity Catholic Church .
