Thomas H. Garrison

87, of Indianapolis, passed away June 17, 2014. He was born March 1, 1927 in Flora, IN to the late Russell and Mildred Hay Garrison. Tom graduated from Flora High School, Class of 1945 and served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII. He married Betty L. Harter, February 24, 1951. Tom worked in sales for General Foods for 33 years, retiring in 1986. He was a longtime member of Meridian Street United Methodist Church, a member of Flora Masonic Lodge F. & A.M., and was a coach for many years at Fall Creek Little League.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel , 9900 Allisonville Road. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora, IN.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty H. Garrison; three devoted children, Bradley J. Garrison (Kristin), Scott R. Garrison (Lissa), and Lisa A. Garrison; and five grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Mark, Kate, and Anna Garrison. A brother, Bill Garrison, and two sisters, Mary McCauley and Margery Brim, preceded him in death.
