Thelma Violet Bell
94, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on June 23, 2014. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky to Oather and Martha Evans. She retired from Allison as the manager of the employee cafeteria and then worked at the Hyatt Regency in the same position. She owned an antique store in Fountain Square and enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Bell; her parents; a daughter, Judith Wright and brothers and sisters. Surviving is her daughter, Sandra (Bernie) Ahaus; sisters, Mildred McWilliams and Alma McDonald; grandchildren, Scott VanderPan, Jason VanderPan, Holly (Chris) Simon and Hilary Wright, as well as great-grandchildren, Olivia Simon, Joel Simon and Andrew Simon. Friends may visit with Thelma's family one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Flanner and Bucha nan - Washington Park East , 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.
